Egbe Amofin O’odua Shows Full Force support and matched their Adoption of Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, with action in a rear display display of unity, strength and solidarity at the NBA Ondo Branch Law Week.

When Egbe Amofin O’odua, the foremost body of Yoruba lawyers, adopted Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, as its consensus choice for the 2026 NBA Presidency, it was a statement of confidence, unity, and strategic foresight.

At the just concluded NBA Ondo Branch Law Week, that statement came alive in full colour, as the Egbe demonstrated an extraordinary show of force that left no one in doubt that its support has moved from words to visible action.

It was more than Aare arriving with his immediate team, it was a grand procession of Egbe’s finest sons and daughters, seasoned bar leaders, branch chairmen, and committed foot soldiers, converging in Ondo in a resounding display of loyalty and purpose. Legal heavyweights like Alhaji Muritala Abdulrasheed, SAN, PhD, Adetunji Osho Past chairman Akure branch, and other distinguished past chairmen from Ado-Ekiti, Ogbomosho, Abuja, and Okitipupa stood prominently beside him, while chairmen from Ibadan, Akure, Ikere, Ogbomosho, Ilesha, Ilorin, Osogbo, and Okitipupa, Iwo, Ikorodu including a chairman-elect lent their presence in a rare alignment of leadership across the Southwest. Clearly the entire region is not joking this time, it is obvious they have learnt from past mistakes and are determined to make it work this time. Analysts have described this as a massive show of force and solidarity in support of Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN.

Beyond titles, the gathering reflected deep grassroots connection especially amongst the younger members of the bar, with vice chairpersons, secretaries, welfare officers, FIDA leaders, financial secretaries, and young bar influencers all standing united.

It was a rich mix of bar elders, branch leaders, and vibrant young lawyers, cutting across gender, age, and geographical divides, proof that Aare’s appeal is broad, inclusive, and anchored in genuine relationships across the NBA family.

The Ondo Branch Law Week became more than a professional event, it transformed into a strategic stage where Egbe Amofin O’odua sent a clear message to the Bar, that it is not only united in adoption, but unwavering in action.

Every handshake, every exchange, every group photograph told the same powerful story, this is a movement with structure, loyalty, and direction.

As the road to 2026 unfolds, Ondo will be remembered as the moment Egbe Amofin O’odua took its support for Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, from adoption to presence, from resolution to reality, setting the tone for the journey ahead.
