WHATSAPP GLITCH EARLIER TODAY

After being unavailable for more than an hour, WhatsApp has now resumed service.

Users of WhatsApp noticed that they were unable to send or receive messages as well as update their status at around 8:20AM on Tuesday.

Whilst some users may not have noticed the glitch there was some outcry on social media as this is a major social media platform for most individuals and businesses.

This experience however begs to question particularly for android users who rely majorly on this messaging platform for communication what could happen if the glitch happens someday and the messaging platform vanishes.

We believe it's time for users to seek other alternative messaging platforms.

The glitch though temporary as witnessed, users began getting messages at 9:45AM, although sent messages indicated that they had been sent but not delivered.

Meta the owners of WhatsApp are yet to issue a statement regarding the development as at the time of this report.
