My dear colleagues,

As we embark on this solemn journey of Lent, let us take a moment to reflect on the deeper values that define our profession—justice, integrity, and service to humanity. This season calls us to self-examination, renewal, and a commitment to doing what is right, not just in the eyes of the law but in the sight of God and humanity.

As lawyers, we are entrusted with the responsibility of defending truth and fairness. Let this Lenten season be a time to rededicate ourselves to these principles, to show compassion to those in need, and to seek a higher standard of ethical conduct in our practice and daily lives.

May this period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving bring us closer to God and strengthen our resolve to be true ministers of justice. Wishing you all a reflective and spiritually fulfilling Lent.
