ANNOUNCEMENT: RELOCATION OF THE 2025 ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE

In steadfast adherence to our constitutional values and the rule of law, the Nigerian Bar Association has taken a firm position: the appointment of a Sole Administrator in Rivers State is unconstitutional. Guided by this principle and in line with the overwhelming resolution of NEC and the wider NBA membership, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to relocate the 2025 Annual General Conference.

We are pleased to inform our members and stakeholders that the 2025 AGC will now be held in the historic and vibrant city of Enugu, fondly known as the Coal City. Enugu boasts the capacity, hospitality, and infrastructure needed to successfully host a conference of this magnitude.

This decision reflects our unwavering commitment to justice, constitutionalism, and excellence. We urge all members to rally behind this change with unity, purpose, and resolve.

Together, we will deliver a remarkable and impactful conference experience.
