The Young Lawyers Forum, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), is honoured to welcome Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi, Chairman, House Committee on Solid Minerals and Member, House of Representatives (Nasarawa State), as one of our distinguished panelists at the NBA-YLF Abuja Summit 2025.

A seasoned legislator and policy advocate, Hon. Gbefwi brings a wealth of insight into the governance and business of Nigeria’s extractive sector — an industry where law, commerce, and national development intersect.

At the session titled “From Soil to Market: The Business of a Lawyer in the Extractive Industries,” he will join other experts to explore how legal professionals can play strategic roles in mining, solid minerals regulation, and resource-based enterprise development.
